Marrya Briggs, Arizona TASC Program Coordinator, recently attended the 2nd Annual International Community Corrections Association (ICCA) conference held in Reno, Nevada this September, 2013.

Marrya (National TASC Vice President) and Andrea Paventi (National TASC President from Ohio TASC) presented a workshop entitled Treatment Accountability for Safer Communities in Corrections: Risk, Needs, and Responsivity for Probation. This workshop showcased how TASC programs work with community corrections programs, using risk, needs, and responsivity in a TASC substance use behavioral healthcare case management model. Once client risk and needs are determined, how a case management or supervision model can be effectively implemented.
