AZ CEO RECEIVES NTASC PRESIDENT'S AWARD

Every year National TASC celebrates its partners and advocates that promote the societal benefits of alcohol and drug use disorder treatment, laud the contributions of treatment providers and promote the message that recovery from alcohol and drug use disorders in all its forms is possible.

This National TASC President’s award goes to an individual who has invested a substantial amount of their professional career assuring TASC services are available across the country and in their locale. The selection of this individual is made by the Executive Committee of the National TASC Board.

We are proud to acknowledge that this year’s recipient of the President’s Award is our very own Barbara Zugor, CEO of TASC, Inc. based in Phoenix, AZ.

ARIZONA PROBLEM SOLVING COURT CONFERENCE

On May 14th and 15th, 2013 I had the chance to attend the Arizona Problem Solving Court Conference held at the Prescott Resort in beautiful Prescott, Arizona.  Alongside Joe Candelaria, we set up a booth to showcase TASC and the services that we provide.

This conference was an excellent opportunity to meet with many of the probation and drug court officers from the local area as well as from other parts of the state.  We were able to discuss with them what they liked about TASC and areas of concern that they had as well.
